Donic-Schildkrot positions itself with the CarboTec racket series now again as a pioneering innovator: instead of wood, the club face and handle are made of high-quality carbon for the first time, which is significantly stronger and more torsion-resistant than conventional constructions based on wood. The player experiences a completely new feeling of playing and the superior energy output means that when the basic table tennis punching techniques are mastered, a significantly faster game is possible for the ambitious recreational player through to use by the curious club player.
Important to know: According to the ITTF regulations, a certain proportion of wood is prescribed for use in official competition games, ie. the CarboTec racket are a little ahead of their time and not (yet) approved for official competition play. With its carbon content of 20%, the "CarboTec 900" is practically the entry-level model of this extremely high-quality product line and impresses with its exclusive equipment in every detail. The innovative carbon construction "from a single source" (no separation of racket face and handle) is very handy and is characterised by has a long service life, and it is relatively insensitive to the effects of the weather.
The top quality "Champion" rubber is equipped with a 1.9 mm thick sponge for a balanced ball acceleration/ball control ratio and provides excellent grip so that all playing techniques such as spin can be transferred very effectively to the ball. In the case of the CarboTec racket, the base is also equipped with the smart base change system "QRC" (Quick Rubber Change): this enables the base to be exchanged or upgraded in a matter of seconds and in combination with the high level of robustness and durability of the carbon club thus also a valuable solution for sustainability. This all-round convincing product line was conceived and designed in Germany, and production takes place under strict quality management. Since their market launch, CarboTec racket have already received various awards, eg. the renowned Red Dot Design Award and the Plus X Award in the categories of innovation, high quality and functionality.
