WEB CONTENT ADMINISTRATOR

Job Title: Web Content Administrator

Location: Bourne End

Working hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri

Salary:£28K plus, depending on experience

 

Overview

At Hawkinsport, a dynamic and well-respected sports and school wear business with nearly 60 years of heritage, we’re passionate about delivering excellence. We’re looking for an organised, detail-orientated team player to join us as our new Web Content Administrator.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day management of website content across our B2C site and B2B portal, ensuring everything is accurate, engaging, user-friendly, and aligned with our business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and publish high-quality website content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Creating listings for the website from start to finish – including use of metafields, appropriate tagging and filters - using Cin7 Core (our inventory management system) combined with Shopify.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, production, and retail to ensure content aligns with business strategy and user needs.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain digital assets and product details.
  • Upload and manage digital assets (images, videos, documents) across the website.
  • Maintain website structure and functionality by working with our agency to address technical issues and content display problems.
  • Manage upload schedule, meeting deadlines efficiently.
  • Additional assistance developing visuals for team kits and hoodies to support sales and marketing, including the strategic use of AI.
  • Occasional warehouse and delivery processing support along with supporting club and uniform fitting events.

Experience

 

Essential

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with Shopify.
  • Experience in content management or a related field.
  • Competent in Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desired

  • Experience in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience with basic SEO principles.
  • Experience with custom CSS preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • An ability to see problems and recommend solutions proactively.

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Job Title: Production Assistant

Hours: Full time

Reports to: Production Manager

Location: Bourne End

 

Overview

At Hawkinsport, a dynamic and well-respected sports and school wear business established for nearly 60 years, we're passionate about excellence. We’re looking for an experienced Production Assistant to join our in-house embroidery and print team, to complete retail and wholesale orders for school wear and sportswear garments. Experience in embroidery and design software is advantageous, but not essential as full training is provided.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:     

  • Preparing garments for embroidery including removing packaging, framing garments, changing thread colours and loading designs
  • Setting up and monitoring the embroidery process on the machine
  • Finishing garments including removing any production marks and preparing orders for dispatch to customers
  • Performing regular machine inspections and reporting any issues
  • Printing of garments using our in-house printing equipment and cutters
  • Keeping track of work orders and updating records
  • Helping to ensure that the department is kept clean and tidy
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by management
